Scandinavian Kitchen

Oh for the love of minimalism!!! This kitchen has been black and white many years but now its be simplified with an amazing fire clay tile backsplash. The tile has amazing texture which adds warmth to the space without feeling cold or too modern. The built in hood was a great change from the modern metal box there previously. I loved the shelving that was there, I had it in the kitchen for 16 years as well as the bar code wallpaper, they stood the test of time and changes in decor but I was ready to let them go for a much more simplified look. I also added some arches to the doorways to make the space feel cozier and to add some character, so the space would feel somewhat to the feel of what the home would have looked originally.
